\"\"WiFi is not enough, American Airlines is looking to add paid-for online video streaming services<\/a>. \u00a0This is great news and a good start for airlines to enhance the travel experience for many travelers. \u00a0First step was WiFi, next step is bringing on-demand movies, music videos, tv shows to the palm of your hand<\/a> (literally). \u00a0I wonder if American Airlines should partner with Netflix?<\/p>\n

Will this make me want to travel more? \u00a0Not really, but it should increase the competition with other airlines. \u00a0If you do not offer this service and you charge just as much, why should I travel with you? In any case, competition should heighten.<\/p>\n

Next critical question is how much will this service be? \u00a0Its a paid for service…which means its going to cost me. \u00a0Does this mean I have to pay for WiFi AND video streaming? \u00a0I sure hope not. \u00a0In any case, its nice to see airlines putting investment back into the traveling experience. \u00a0It may be the only way to keep customers loyal.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
